A 42-year-old IT project manager in Lucerne called in sick with exhaustion syndrome (burnout) after completing an intensive project. Early signs such as overtime, sleep problems and irritability had already appeared.
AcciMed closely monitored the patient and assessed his ability to work on a weekly basis. After just three weeks of being completely unable to work, the patient expressed a desire for activity. This point in time was ideal for a gradual, controlled return to work with simple tasks in order to avoid an abrupt transition.
Thanks to the reWork profile, the patient's incapacity for work was gradually increased over five weeks, avoiding full incapacity for work and achieving significant savings and greater stability for insurers and employers .
Be inspired by this impressive recovery and share the story of how early support makes a difference. Together we are raising awareness of mental health in the workplace.
