She was diagnosed with severe ligament strain in hospital and was initially put on **sick leave** for **10 days**.   --- ### 02 Solution The doctor contacted the patient early on the first working day after the accident. Through rapid consultation with the employer, tasks were **prioritized** and a **home office with ergonomic adjustments** was organized. The use of **video conferencing** was specifically supported in order to avoid travel.   --- ### 03 Ability to work part-time The project coordinator was able to work again from week 2, albeit with an adjusted workload.   --- ### 04 Results - **Planned absence:** 1 week instead of 4 weeks - **No chronification** - **No relapses** - **Reduction in days of absence:** 18 days - **Savings for the company:** CHF 10,800 - CHF 18,000   --- ### 05 Share success story This story shows how proactive action and flexible workplace solutions can significantly reduce downtime after an accident and achieve positive results for everyone involved.
