A 38-year-old logistics employee (goods delivery and warehouse) suffered a deep cut to his right thigh with muscle involvement while unloading a pallet. The wound had to be treated surgically, which according to the initial assessment would have resulted in three weeks of complete incapacity to work.
The doctor contacted the patient on the day of the accident. After consultation with the treating surgeon, a reassignment was organized in agreement with the employer. The patient took on administrative tasks in the incoming goods department and coordinated internal processes while seated and without putting any strain on the injured leg.
